We'd love to see you any Sunday!
...and we know it's always easier when you know what to expect.
8AM
Our prayer book inspired service with traditional elements
10AM
Our morning service which includes our Kids Alive children's program
6PM
Our evening service for all ages including youth and young adults
What are the different service types?
Our 8am service is our most traditional service. We use the Sydney Anglican Prayer Book, sing hymns accompanied by our choir, and enjoy communion regularly.
Our 10am and 6pm services are more contemporary in style, with music led by our worship band and vocalists. We invite people from all ages to any service, but if you’re looking for our highschoolers and our Young Adult community they can be found at our 6pm service. 10am is great for families, as that is when our Kids Alive children's program runs.
Your kids are going to love it here!
Kids Alive runs alongside our 10am service every Sunday morning. This program is for toddlers through to Yr5, and your kids will have heaps of fun with games, craft, activities, a bible talk and lots of singing and dancing. We also have our Year 6 D-Team, run by our youth leadership team.
Out the front of the hall you will see a check-in table saying “NEW FAMILIES HERE”, and one of our kids team will say hi, grab some important info from you (allergies/contact numbers) and then show you which room your kids will be in for the morning. At any time your child wishes to leave our program, one of our leaders will happily bring them over to church and find you.
Our main church auditorium also has a toddler’s room (full of toys and books) as well as a fully equipped feeding room for babies.
Any team member serving with kids on a Sunday has a valid Working With Children Check number and has completed a Safe Ministry Course. To find out more about our committment to safe practices here, visit stpauls.church/safeministry
What should I wear?
Something you already own and that you feel comfortable in! There is no formal dress code at St Paul’s, no need to feel like you have to dress up – but you of course can put on your Sunday best if that is what you are happiest in! Most of our congregation wear smart casual attire, think what you would wear to a weekend BBQ with friends.
What happens during a church service at St Paul's?
When you visit a church for the first time it can be intimidating – we hope that this is not your experience of St Paul’s and that you feel at home as you join us at one of our services.
On arriving at St Paul’s after finding a parking spot, you will walk up to our main entrance and be greeted by our welcoming team (they'll be wearing a lanyard so you know who they are). They will say hi, and help you to find a seat inside our auditorium. If you have any questions at all, about the service or facilities (like “where is the bathroom?!”) they will be more than happy to show you around. Don’t be shy to ask if you are not sure about something!
Our service will go for just over 1hr. We will open by singing a few songs together, then our service leader will welcome you and encourage you to say hi to the people around you, and share any church news and announcements. We will have a time of prayer, and then a reading from the Bible. One of our Ministers will then share a message from the passage that has been read out.
We finish our service with more singing. After the service our Heart Team would love to chat to you if you have any questions about the service, something you have heard about Jesus, or if you simply want to find out more. Head up the back to our Welcome Desk and you can grab a newcomers gift which has some info about our church and activities we run. Our Malacci’s cafe is open after each service so you can enjoy a beverage before heading home (and hopefully coming back to visit with us again!)
Have you checked us out online?
One of the best ways to get a sense of what to expect at our services is to watch our live stream - we stream at 10am and 6pm every single Sunday.
